Summer in Aspen with Georgia Brown Home

Though it’s known as a winter retreat, our family has made Aspen a summer destination for many years. There is nothing more spectacular then Aspen in full bloom. Perfect sunny days, wild flowers the size of golf balls, this is the ideal place for true relaxation. And there is an endless supply of things to do, easy for the whole family to enjoy.

Hiking, live music, horse back riding, amazing restaurants, museums and more, the list is endless. Lunch at the top of the Aspen Mountain the Sundeck, or letting the kids run through the Dancing Fountain. Starting next week is the Aspen Food & Wine festival. If you are a foodie, this event is not to be missed. Our family has so many wonderful memories in this town, and we are building more of them each year.

Georgia Brown Home found a ‘home’ in Aspen, and spending the summers in the store, meeting new people, locals and tourists, is one of our favorite things to do.

If you are in Aspen this summer, here are a few things to check out.  The Aspen Pitkin guide gives you all the information on parks, trails, recreation for the kids and more. Fab Search has the ‘greatest hits’ of restaurants and places to stay. Or you can stop by the store and we can give you our personal recommendations…
